Liquid Filtration

A range of liquid bag and cartridge housings are offered by AFS Ltd.

Housings can be offered in stainless steel, steel, alloys to cover liquid filtration requirements from 0.5 to 800 micron. Alternative material construction such as Polyproylene, can be provided for chemically challenging applications.

A range of self cleaning filters, using a unique rotorblade technology offers the best solution for high viscosity fluids. A full range of manual, motorised and fully automatic filters is available in 316 stainless steel construction with quick release access to the wedge wire or perforated filter element. Increased quality output means minimum disruption to product flow and the enclosed design offers minimal fluid loss during both process production and system cleaning. The fully automated version requires no operator contact and eliminates manual cleaning.

This technology which is used widely in the food industry in conjunction with hygienic magnetic separators, provides security in quality product and protection against contamination of foreign bodies. These systems, when operating together, offer robust critical control points.
