Pump Management
Pump operation can be managed more efficiently when fitted with an integrated intelligent controller which adjusts the pump speed and performance to the actual demand leading to energy savings of up to 70%, whilst maintaining system pressures.
The variable speed pump controller can be used on centrifugal pumps and blowers to provide a range of advantages. The use of an integrated controller means that the pump runs at lower speeds during operation, leading to less noise in the pipeline and valves. Water hammer can also be prevented, which normally arises in the start/stop operation of full speed pumps. Longer maintenance intervals can be achieved because of less stress to the pump and motor.
Existing pumps can be retrofitted with an integrated controller and no external panels, contactors or motor protection devices are required.
Benefits
- The pump control system is approved on the ECA list
- Longer maintenance intervals because of less stress to the pump and motor
- The brilliant mounting method of the unit allows a very simple, (inexpensive), fast retrofitting on existing pumps
- All hydraulic control functions are included in the unit, therefore no additional external controllers are required
- Automatic adjustment of the pump performance to varying demands
Features
- Can be mounted directly on to the pump motor, horizontal or vertical, or it can be wall mounted, therefore offering greater flexibility
- Can be retrofitted to any existing centrifugal pump or fan, which has a standard IEC motor
- Protection against dry running or excessive water demand
- The pump control system is able to communicate with up to three more units without a control panel
Our pump management systems can be used on the following applications:-
- Boiler feed
- Sewage pumps
- Cooling towers
- Heat exchangers
- Booster sets
- H & V systems
- Chillers
- RO systems
- Irrigation systems
- Water supply
- Filter feed
