AFS Ltd, one the UK’s leading independent compressed air systems providers, has today announced their strongest quarter in 20 years.
Following a series of significant new account wins and a successful recruitment campaign, the Manchester-based company is gaining a reputation in the manufacturing sector for providing an unparalleled combination of customer focused service and advanced product specification.
AFS provide compressed air and liquid filtration solutions for some of the UK’s highest profile manufacturers including Heinz, United Biscuits, EDF Energy, Siemens, Philips and JCB, and their growing reputation is seeing an increased number of manufacturing giants turning to their expertise.
Responding to the increasing levels of demand, AFS has bolstered its management team with two high profile appointments, and is currently developing the next generation of engineers and technicians by rolling out an Apprenticeship scheme.
Stewart Maxwell is the new Sales and Service Co-ordinator, while Compressor Engineer Rob Shaw brings his extensive experience to the Trafford Park based company.
Following years of providing energy, drive and commitment, Operations Director Maxine Leach (MBA, Cmgr), who is also driving the new Apprenticeship scheme, is appointed as a Company Director.
