Bespoke compressed air solutions for individual manufacturing applications

AFS have today further enhanced their reputation in the food manufacturing sector by announcing the successfully commission of a unique liquid evacuation system for one of the world’s largest food manufacturers.

The system, designed to speed up the process or transferring viscose liquid food produce from logistics tankers, is a clear example of how AFS are able to configure complex solutions that deliver manufacturing process efficiencies to their clients.

The installation utilises compressed air generated at a minimum dewpoint of -40 along with point-of-use sterile air filtration. When combined with standard drying and filtration SSOP practices, AFS are able to ensure ongoing BRC legislation compliance.

Commenting on the project, Managing Director Andy Ryan said:

The system combines HACCP Prerequisite Program (PRP) with GMPs and SSOPs to mitigate BRC compliance risk from the manufacturing processes. Our ongoing compliance monitoring and maintenance program ensures final stage compressed air filtration at 0.01 micron.
