AFS Supports Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Charity

AFS Ltd are proudly supporting local hyperbaric oxygen therapy charity, ‘A Breath for Life’.

The Morecombe based support centre helps children with a wide range of conditions, including cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, cancer, autism and traumatic brain injuries.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), involves breathing pure oxygen at higher atmospheric pressures. This increased uptake of oxygen into the bodies fluids, stimulates and restores function to damaged cells and organs.

Founded in 1996, ‘A Breath for Life’ and is charity dedicated to providing affordable hyperbaric oxygen treatment for all. Offering information and access to a hyperbaric chamber which is designed specifically to treat chronic health conditions which have been unrelieved by conventional medical interventions.

AFS Ltd are supporting the charity by providing supplies of filters, which are used during the treatment cycle.
